Tile Sheets

You no longer need to fear blended tile mixes and mosaics - the easiest and most precise way to achieve the perfect glass tile pattern in your home is with glass mosaic tile sheets from NewGlassTiles.com!

All of our luxurious mosaic tile blends come on glass tile sheets that are one square foot (12" by 12"). Each individual tile in your tile pattern is attached to the sheet with mini rubber "dots" that act as spacers to create uniform grout lines. These dots are strong enough to hold your tiles together, but are simple to cut through when necessary (such as when cutting the tile sheet to fit a smaller area).

What would we do without tile sheets? Well, most people's tile floors would look pretty horrible for starters. Back in the day, when tile first started to be used, installers would lay each tile individually. Not only did this take a huge amount of time, but it was pretty much a guarantee that your tile floor would be crooked.

Tile sheets are a DIY'ers best friend, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't be careful when installing your tile. Here are a few things to remember when installing glass tile, stainless steel, or river rock tile sheets:

Although tiles are attached to a single sheet, the tile sheets are still flexible and won't always keep the tiles perfectly in line with one another. Always make sure that your tile is properly lined up after mortaring it.

If you need to cut a tile sheet to fit a certain space, cut the sheet from the back using a utility knife.

Although it's harder to get a clean cut, if you MUST use scissors, you will need to slightly bend the two courses of tiles between which you are cutting

Always make sure you cut tile sheets between the tiles; it's extremely difficult to make an even cut when cutting the actual tiles
